Breakneck Tavern

Breakneck Tavern | Mars, Pennsylvania | Commercial Restaurant | Renovation | 5,580 s.f.

Project Overview:

When the new owner purchased the Mars neighborhood-favorite bar set along an existing railroad and Route 228, they wanted to give it new life while adding some local character.

Our design focused on incorporating found elements from the property while taking cues from its location to shape the experience. Salvaged industrial glass was repurposed as booth partitions, while curated local memorabilia brings a sense of history and community to the walls. The bar top is poured-in-place concrete, while the footrest is a railroad track.  The interior blends industrial and railroad-inspired details to create a cohesive, character-driven space.
