ABOUT US
FJ Baehr Architects, LLC is a Cranberry Township-based architecture firm, located twelve miles north of downtown Pittsburgh. Since its founding in 1994 by Fredrick “Fritz” Baehr, the firm has partnered with builders, developers, and private owners to deliver thoughtful, practical designs across residential and commercial projects.
In 2007, Fritz’s daughter Angela and her husband Aaron - both licensed Architects - joined the practice after relocation from Jackson, Wyoming. Today, Angela and Aaron own and lead FJ Baehr Architects, with Fritz retired from daily operations but continuing to consult. Our multi-generational team blends experience and fresh perspective to create durable, well-crafted solutions tailored to each client's project.
Studio Philosophy
Architectural design is a conversation on paper. Each project begins with an initial draft shaped by the client’s ideas and practical needs. Through collaborative revision and thoughtful development, those drafts evolve into fully realized designs - distinct stories expressed in built form. We balance attentive listening, creative exploration, and technical rigor to transform your vision into enduring, purposeful spaces.
Experience
As a second-generation architectural design firm, we have project experience in locations throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Wyoming.
Meet the Team
Angela and Aaron both earned Bachelor of Architecture degrees from The Pennsylvania State University in 2000. After graduation, they lived and worked in Jackson, Wyoming, and in 2007 relocated to the Pittsburgh area to join FJ Baehr Architects. Today, they live in Franklin Park and work in Cranberry Township, where they lead the firm, bringing a blend of regional experience and thoughtful design to every project.
